Guidance for Giving

The Three Rivers Community Foundation will work with you to develop giving strategies, connect you with community organizations that fit your interest areas and, if you wish, involve your children and grandchildren in family philanthropy, thereby establishing your legacy in this community.

As part of our personalized service for donors, we are available to consult with you about your philanthropic needs and provide the following services:

1. Help to create a giving plan that is right for you 2. Discuss your grantmaking goals and strategies 3. Work with you to engage family members 4. Work one-on-one with your kids  5. Research specific nonprofits at your request  6. Recommend organizations in line with your interests  7. Help to leverage your impact by connecting you to programs and projects that the Three Rivers Community Foundation is working on  8. On-call help – call or e-mail with any questions or issues related to your philanthropy, to long-term strategies, or about the best way to respond to an issue you just read about in the paper
